I cannot recommend this day out enough! We were all in our 50s and had no problems with the cycling. Thanks for a fantastic day!

Get to REALLY know the town
Bryan showed us the laneways and arcades and little shops that we never would have found any other way. Can’t recommend this ride enough. What a great time. What a fun guy.

Shayne Currie wrote in the NZ Herald: “Murray's bike tour is a gem, an intimate ride through the heart of Melbourne… regaled with one of the best city commentaries you'll hear.”

Presenter Laura Csortin, The Great Outdoors on Channel 7 said: Forget the parking hassles - experience all the hot spots of Melbourne in a fun and unique way. The Real Melbourne Bike Tour is a perfect way to check out all the great places in Melbourne. What's best is that Melbourne is flat, the bikes are lightweight and comfortable and your guide, Murray, is a fountain of knowledge. Since the tour only takes half a day, you'll have plenty of time to revisit the places you've loved most. So get riding!

Real Melbourne Bike Tours offer a wonderful opportunity for the family to experience our great city without breaking the bank. In a few hours you’ll know Melbourne like the back of your hand.”

Presenter Lauren Phillips on Channel 9’s Getaway said:
As well as being one of the world’s most liveable cities Melbourne is one of the most rideable. This is a city orientation tour – perfect for visitors to get their bearings and for locals like me to get reacquainted with its history. This is classic Melbourne.

Gia Rosenblum of New Jersey wrote: “My family and I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed it. I have been raving about the wonderful time we had ever since. You really provided the perfect mix of great locales to visit, interesting history, quirky anecdotes, and personal background, not to mention great snacks to try. Truly your tour was one of the highlights of our overall wonderful stay in Melbourne.

Resie Tromba of Holland: My name is Resie Tromba and I'm the daughter of Harry and Maria Weijman from Holland who came on the bike tour with you last Friday morning. We would like to thank you for the great experience they had on your guided tour through the great city of Melbourne on bicycles!! They went to places that they would never have found on their own and tasted the most beautiful food and drinks thanks to you!! They really enjoyed themselves and will pass this on to their friends that are planning to visit Melbourne!!
Once again, thank you very much for your tour and also for taking the time to make sure they understood what you told them (not everybody does this with people from overseas who have English as their second language!). Very much appreciated!!

Kim Culley of the USA wrote: “Thanks again for a wonderful Real Melbourne Bike Tour - we really enjoyed it! You really added such a great personal touch and showed the many different sites of the city. It's nice to see someone so passionate about the history/tourism of their own city, but then be just as passionate about the smaller barrios and intercultural districts - it was a side of the city we would have never even known existed. ”

Schools

Real Melbourne Bike Tours are pure magic! Students gain an enhanced knowledge
of Melbourne through active engaged learning and a sense of achievement and
empowerment from completing a journey together.
Cara Besch, Urban Camp Melbourne

Each year our students enjoy a Real Melbourne guided bike tour to St Kilda and back along the beach. It’s a fantastic physical, social and safe tour of the sights of Melbourne and neighbouring suburbs.
Trevor McClure, Edenhope College

A group of our girls did your four hour city tour last year and had a brilliant time. We plan to make it an annual event.
Kelly Wintle, Loreto Mandeville Hall, Toorak

Each term students from Brighton Grammar School take Rentabike cycles for a trip down the Yarra as part of their City Exploation. The bike ride reinforces curriculum but also provides a fantastic recreation activitiy for our students. They look forward to this part of our program immensely, and as teachers it is always good to know that the bikes are of good quality and the staff really helpful. Graeme Harris, Brighton Grammar.

Why walk when you can ride the sights?

We are located in “Vault 14” at “Federation Wharf” – that’s the riverside level below Federation Square. Take the lift or stairs beside Prince’s Bridge down to the river level. We’re between the wonderful Riverland and Pilgrim bars near the river cruise ticket offices.
